The possibilities of creating NFTs are endless. We’ve already seen various brands and companies across industries develop their own NFTs. Recently, the NFT’ fever’ has seen some effect in the UNESCO-recognized Belgian beer culture.
Brewers and farmers from Belgian Barrels Alliance (BBA) are partnering up with Zeromint to offer NFTs. These NFTs aim to preserve the indigenous culture of Belgian Beer. Zeromint will develop and offer exclusive NFTs on the GoChain blockchain. Moreover, international beer fans can look at these NFTs via BBA.
Besides this, the organization will carry out several BBA NFT collection projects around sustainability and focus on the preservation of Belgian beer heritage. All of these projects will follow suit for 14 days.
According to the officials, the first Belgian Barrels NFT auction will recruit 11 participants for acting in a BBA-produced movie titled Belgian Barrels:
“”The aim of the movie project is to further eternalize the Belgian Beer history through a professional cinematic movie production, which BBA plans to promote and distribute globally.””
All the winners in that auction will receive VIP access to all BBA events and exclusive bottles. Also, they could access vintage beer menus and BBA clubs. Co-founder of Belgian Barrels Alliance, De Block added:
“”Belgian beer is not just beer. It is a rich and complex history about old families and true people that became legends. It is simply an honor to open some of their bottles and to tell their story.”
On the other hand, the alliance is also planning to launch NFT initiatives promoting tree plantations and specialized artisan skills. This is to build engagement and reward opportunities for beer fans and enthusiasts.
