Bruce Lee Family Company to launch the famous actor’s first NFT

Bruce Lee is undoubtdely the most famous martial artist, actor and philosopher raging in the 1970s. Now, Bruce Lee Family Company along with an NFT protocol will launch the actor’s first NFT collection.

The Family Company has partnered with NFT protocol Ethernity to launch Lee’s first NFT collection. They’ll launch the collection on 8th January 2022. Moreover, they aim to “commemorate the life and legacy of the martial arts pioneer, philosopher and global action film star.”

According to Ethernity’s announcement, the artwork stems from artists such as Bosslogic, Raf Grassetti, and Anthony Francisco. Moreover, “philosophy and teachings of Bruce Lee” inspired the NFT collection.

The chairwoman and CEO of Bruce Lee Family Company, Shannon Lee said:

“My father believed in honest self-expression. We’re honored for the opportunity to collaborate with these extremely talented artists whose artistic expressions will help continue to spread the positive message of Bruce Lee’s philosophy and teachings to the world in an authentic way.

Recently, many renowned stars and celebrities that have passed away have featured in non-fungible token art. The previous year, the Jerry Garcia Foundation launched the NFT auction featuring the late Grateful Dead guitarist’s art.

Post that, Ethernity partnered with Muhammad Ali Enterprises (MAE) to launch the first Muhammad Ali NFT collection. Besides this, Sotherby’s transformed Muhammad Ali artwork into an NFT and sold at the end of July.

Moreover, Makersplace had revealed the first NFT collection based on Tupac Shakur’s well-known jewellery pieces.

The founder and CEO of Ethernity, Nick Rose affirmed her company’s stance towards providing Bruce Lee Fans with the new NFTs. Moreover, she added:

We can’t wait to give Bruce Lee’s fans new ways to celebrate his life’s work, towards which our team shares so many fond feelings.
