Alpine F1 Team partners with Binance for launching its fan token

It’s not uncommon to see teams from various sports partner with crypto companies for launching their fan tokens. These fan tokens act as a sort of ‘homage’ to the fan community, offering some sort of functionalities along with it. Recently, BWT Alpine F1 Team and global crypto exchange Binance have partnered together for launching Alpine Fan Token.

Alpine gave away this announcement via their Twitter account:

Binance will power the upcoming fan token. Moreover, the team will launch their fan token (ALPINE) on the Binance Launchpad. With this joint effort, Alpine is aiming to explore new branding opportunities for a more purposeful fan engagement experience.

Moreover, Alpine is trying for a more intuitive experience for the team fans through engagement-based rewards, interactivity, gamification, etcetera.

CEO of Alpine, Laurent Rossi, commented on the partnership:

“BWT Alpine F1 Team is not one to shy away from challenges, nor are we afraid to continually push the limit both on and off the track. Partnering with Binance fuels our passion to change the racing landscape as well as open doors for more innovative fan engagement.

CEO of Binance Fiat Exchange, Helen Hai, also commented on the partnership:

“We are proud to announce BWT Alpine F1 Team on the Binance Fan Token Platform, and our first Formula 1 partnership. The Alpine name has a rich history in motorsports but it is its innovative approach to fan engagement that aligns perfectly with our vision for Binance Fan Tokens.

Fans can purchase the utility token via the Launchpad from 16th February at 00:00 AM (UTC). Moreover, fans can also purchase these tokens via Spot, debit/credit cards, and P2P.
