Billionaire Investor says Crypto is here to stay

Many people from various industries have given their views about Crypto and the underlying industry. While some have reservations about the new technology, most agree that the technology will soon become an alternative to traditional systems. Recently, billionaire, co-founder, and managing partner of one of the biggest private equity firms have given their views about Crypto.

Orland Bravo, co-founder of Thoma Bravo, has stated that he is very bullish about the crypto industry, especially Bitcoin (BTC). The billionaire businessman owns one of the world’s largest private equity firms. In fact, it boasts assets-under-management (AUM) of $83 billion. When asked about the potential of digital assets, Bravo said:

“How could you not love Crypto? […] Crypto is just a great system. It’s frictionless. It’s decentralized. And young people want their own financial system. So it is here to stay.”

He had also participated in FTX’s Series B funding round. The funding round has set the record for the largest amount funded in the crypto exchange history at $900 million. Moreover, the funding resulted in FTX’s value reaching a tremendous $18 billion.

Later in the interview, the billionaire investor talked about the advantages of blockchain that is the baseline of Crypto. In fact, he conveyed his belief that it could improve the current system:

“The underlying technology of blockchain, regardless of what protocol or what system you are building upon, can be very powerful and sometimes provides better use cases than data-based software.”

Thoma Bravo isn’t the only individual who spoke highly of Crypto recently. Crypto proponent and ‘DOGE fanboy’ Elon Musk advocated for the adoption of Crypto. However, he warned about government intervention.
