NYSE celebrates ‘first trades’ with NFT series

The New York Stock Exchange commemorated the first trades for Spotify, Snowflake, Unity, DoorDash, Roblox and Coupang by minting nonfungible tokens yesterday.

In an announcement, NYSE president Stacey Cunningham defined NFTs as a ‘new fun way to mark the moment’ of a company’s first trade on the NYSE.

These NFTs are listed on crypto.com’s NFT marketplace, with the tokens hosting a 10-second video clip with the information about the company’s first trade.

The details included are: Time, Date and Listing price.
