Elton John launches NFT collection

One of the most popular solo artists of the 1970s, also known as Rocket Man, Elton John has recently launched his own NFT collection. For this collection, John has partnered with Sweet and Jadu for the Rocket NFT Club which provides exclusive access to fan experiences and more.

Users can purchase the first collectible launching on 5th July at a price of $29.99. The NFT provides fans official access to the NFT club, and pre-sale opportunities for future NFT drops.

Out of all the NFTs coming up for sale, the rarest of the NFT drops is the Rocket Man Hoverboard. Rocket Man Hoverboard comes at a price of $5,000. Moreover, the collection includes boards created in collaboration Grimes, Snoop Dogg, and Voxel Bunny.

Elton also talked about his partnership with Sweet and Jadu:

“Whilst I’m no metaverse expert, I wanted to make sure that my first NFT was something true to me, and collaborating with LGBTQ+ artist Voxel Bunny and Jadu on something so unique which benefits the Elton John AIDS Foundation for Pride month was the perfect opportunity.”

In addition to that, he said:

“Web3 has the potential to bring people from across the world together like never before and I’m excited for the opportunities to connect with my fans in a vibrant and growing community.”

The Hoverboard auction ends on 22nd June at 6 pm ET.

All sales from the following auction will go towards the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Established in 1992, it is one of the leading independent AIDS organizations in the world aiming to end the AIDS epidemic.
