Companies across segments around the world are looking to incorporate crypto or more specifically NFT technology. Recently, corporate giant Samsung partnered up with the XOXO NFT project.
The XOXO NFT project launched on 30th June. Those holding the XOXO NFTs will receive many gifts due to its collaboration with Samsung being the electronics giant itself.
Holders will receive a free Samsung Galaxy Z flip, Galaxy Watch, or Galaxy buds. Moreover, some lucky holders will get a surprise after they reveal their pieces.
The team behind the XOXO NFT project will share 10,000 art pieces with art collectors and fans around the world. Moreover, this isn’t the first time that Samsung is venturing into the NFT space.
During CES 2022, Samsung promised that it’ll bring NFTs to its TV range. For that, the company partnered up with Nifty Gateway. Nifty Gateway even stated in their press release that it’s “now integrated with Samsung’s NFT platform,” letting you “browse, display, and interact with NFTs” on the company’s “2022 premium TV product lines such as QLED and Neo QLED TV.”
Besides this, Samsung’s The Frame and Micro LED TVs will feature Nifty Gateway’s app. Basically, users can view NFTs on their Samsung TV with this partnership. In fact, some reports even stated that users could purchase or sell NFTs via their TVs. However, Nifty Gateway has a higher threshold requirement for selling or buying NFTs compared to OpenSea. This is a major reason why OpenSea garners most of the market share.
