Popular crypto network Cardano is looking to launch a new light wallet for its platform. For that, the developer team of Cardano, Input Output has developed a wallet dubbed “Lace”.
The team posted about this on the Twitter account of the new light wallet. This new wallet will allow users to keep their NFTs in one place. Due to this, users can easily manage all of their digital assets in one place. Moreover, they don’t have to rely on other services.
For the developers, interoperability between the Cardano and Ethereum networks became the main goal. As of now, they are testing it in limited numbers. However, it will shortly transition to the implementation stage.
Besides linking with all other blockchains, the developers will also work on building more side chains. Through this, they can transform Lace into an all-in-one wallet. Moreover, Lace will also incorporate Web3 architecture into its wallet. Due to his, hopefully, users can readily access the Web3 space.
In fact, interoperability and the capacity to use several blockchain systems will become one of the main features of this wallet.
Other than interoperability, Lace is looking to strengthen its safety as high as possible. In fact, its landing page features safety as one of its top goals. In order to achieve that, they’ll take the help of hardware wallet integration.
Lace will also allow users to stake their Cardano (ADA) for rewards. Finally, the platform will combine digital assets with an NFT gallery, a DApp connection, and simple staking to make entrance into the Web3 simple and fun.
