In an unfortunate incident, a young crypto trader was shot down behind the wheel of his sports car. He was driving his red Porsche Boxster through the city of Sao Pedro da Aldeia.
Wesley Pessano Santarem, an influential teen crypto trader was known for promoting his financial success and lifestyle. The 19-year old had made his fortune in Bitcoin in the past three years.
He ran a YouTube channel on which he gave investment tips to his subscribers. The channel had 15,600 subscribers.
His last post on Instagram was of him posing in front of his car with a handful of cash. He had 134,000 followers on his Instagram account.
As per reports, he was on his way to the hairdressers when he was ambushed and attacked.
As per witnesses, the killers were driving a silver Volkswagen when the shooting happened. The police said that four bullets were shot at Prassano including one to the head. A passenger was also injured in the car at the time of the shooting and had been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Passano originally came from the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. But, he had moved to Cabo Frio in the southeast of the country last year. As of now, the police have not revealed the identity of any suspects nor the motive for the killing. The investigation is currently ongoing.
